Kenichirō Katsura, Animator Behind Macross 7 and Synduality: Noir, Dies at 59

Veteran Japanese animator and character designer Kenichirō Katsura has died at the age of 59. Katsura passed away on September 30 while receiving medical treatment for an illness, according to a statement from his wife and fellow animator Satoko Miyachi.
