Nao Toyama’s New Album, OVER THE RAINBOW, Goes on Sale October 7!

• Voice actress and singer Nao Toyama held her “Nao Toyama Project 2026 kickoff event ~Iku ze! Budokan!!~” on Sunday, May 3 at Culttz Kawasaki where she announced her fourth full-length album OVER THE RAINBOW will be released October 7, 2026. Her last full-length album, Welcome to MY WONDERLAND, was released four years ago in September 2022.
• This album will be Toyama’s last before her upcoming hiatus from singing. In it, she describes her career up until now as a “rainbow” and looks forward to moving beyond it, as the title suggests, while expressing gratitude towards her supporters and hope. The tracklist will be the same across all editions featuring 12 songs in total, including new tracks based on the seven colors of the rainbow, four anime theme songs making their album debut, and an original song written and composed by Toyama herself.
• The album will come in four editions: first press limited edition A, first press limited edition B, standard edition, and the Animate exclusive complete set. The first press limited edition A album includes a bonus Blu-ray featuring the main stage performance of Nao Toyama’s 2026 solo concert “Matsuri”. The first press limited edition B album includes a bonus collaboration CD featuring a star-studded lineup of guest artists. The standard edition is a standard release designed to let fans enjoy the album to its fullest.
• Furthermore, the Animate exclusive complete set comes with the full album, bonus collaboration CD, bonus Blu-ray featuring the solo concert and encore of “Matsuri”, and a special plush toy of “Sitting Mochibou-chan”.
• This project is being launched to mark the 10th anniversary of her career, so please stay tuned for further updates.

She attracted a lot of attention for her role as Kanon Nakagawa in the TV anime The World God Only Knows. After that, she went on to play characters in numerous popular works, such as Karen Kujo in Kin-iro Mosaic, Chitoge Kirisaki in Nisekoi, Reina Prowler in MacrossΔ, and Rin Shima in Yuru CampΔ. She also belongs to popular groups Rhodanthe* and Walküre, both of which were born in anime, and has enthralled fans with her clear voice and flawless performances. On February 1, 2017, she made her debut as a singer with “True Destiny/Chain the world,” tie-up songs for the anime Chain Chronicle: Haecceitas no Hikari, and on February 3, 2018, she held her first solo live at the Nippon Budokan.
